New Zealand Flag

New Zealand members of the Commonwealth Nations Research Society, like their Australian counterparts support the aims of this society to strengthen New Zealand's access to the North American and European markets as well as Asian markets. It would give New Zealand a chance to build a cross-Pacific alliance, and to rebuild the lost trade with the United Kingdom after it went into the European market in 1973.

Realm of New Zealand

Nota Bene: There are organisations that are part of an English-friendly movement, such as the various organisations that are part of the Anglosphere, the Commonwealth of Nations included, and there are organisations that are part of an English-only movement, which in effect show intolerance towards all languages except English. It should be noted that the CNRS is a Commonwealth-friendly organisation, not a Commonwealth-only organisation. We believe that the current Commonwealth is only a model for a future closer, wider and stronger Commonwealth. We believe in a Commonwealth that is inclusive, where both monarchist and republican sentiment is welcome, a Commonwealth where even different national flags can coexist. Readers should know that there have been several new proposed flags for New Zealand, only one of which is shown here: [proposed flag].
